Overview
A trek offering stunning views of Everest and the main peaks of the Khumbu without going to extreme altitude. After flying into Lukla you walk to Namche Bazaar, the main Sherpa town of the region, and after acclimatizing explore the traditional Sherpa villages. The route continues to Tengboche, home of the most important Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu, climbs to Pangboche and returns through the quiet village of Phortse. More mountain views, more culture, more nature and more hospitality: an ideal Everest-region trek for those with limited time or who prefer to stay below 4000 m.
