Overview
A seven-day journey to the most important Hindu temples of the Kathmandu Valley and central Nepal. You visit Dakshinkali, the temple of the goddess Kali on the southern edge of the valley, with stops at the Sesh Narayan temple, Chobhar Gorge and the old Newar town of Kirtipur, then Pashupatinath, the holiest Shiva temple in Nepal, the Kumari Ghar of the living goddess, Kasthamandap and Bhimsen temple. Patan Durbar Square, a World Heritage Site with its palace courtyards, museum and the stone Krishna Mandir, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square follow. A cable car ride takes you to Manakamana, the wish-fulfilling temple of the goddess Bhagwati at about 1300 m, before continuing to Pokhara for sunrise at Sarangkot, the Bindhyabasini temple and a boat ride to Tal Barahi on Phewa Lake.

Drive to Kurintar and ride the cable car to Manakamana temple; lunch there, then continue to Pokhara.
Sunrise from Sarangkot, Bindhyabasini temple and a boat ride on Phewa Lake to Tal Barahi, with an evening cultural program.
Fly or drive back to Kathmandu.
