Overview
A journey through two Himalayan kingdoms with breathtaking landscapes and magnificent temples. You begin with Kathmandu's sacred sites, Swayambhunath Stupa and the Kathmandu and Patan Durbar Squares, before flying past the Himalaya to Paro. In Bhutan you visit Thimphu's cultural landmarks and Punakha Dzong, follow the Mangde Chhu valley towards Trongsa, return through the Gangtey and Phobjikha valleys, home to wintering black-necked cranes, and finish with the famous hike to Tiger's Nest above Paro.
