Everest Helicopter Tour

Around three hours of magical moments take you close to Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho Oyu and many more peaks, without strenuous walking or extended exposure to altitude. The flight passes over the Khumbu Glacier and the azure Gokyo Lakes set against the snowy landscape, and gives an aerial view of Tengboche Monastery, the Syangboche airstrip and other Khumbu landmarks. The helicopter refuels at Lukla, flies up to the Everest area with a short landing near Kala Patthar when conditions allow, and stops for breakfast at the Everest View Hotel above Namche Bazaar before returning to Kathmandu.

   Day 1Kathmandu to Everest and back by helicopter

   Early morning transfer to Kathmandu airport. Fly to Lukla to refuel, then continue up the Khumbu valley for close views of Everest with a short landing near Kala Patthar (5545 m) when weather allows. Breakfast at the Everest View Hotel, then fly back to Kathmandu.
