Mohare Danda Community Trek

A short community eco-trek in Myagdi district, west of the busy Poon Hill trail. Community-owned lodges run by local villages support schools and health posts, and the route passes through Magar and Gurung villages, terraced fields and rhododendron forest. From Mohare Danda (about 3300 m) sunrise lights up Dhaulagiri, the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre. The trek can be linked with Poon Hill or Khopra Danda.

   Drive to the Kali Gandaki and climb through villages to Nangi, home of the community lodge network.
