Overview
A compact five-day tour of Nepal's highlights. It begins with sunset at Nagarkot on the rim of the Kathmandu Valley, then returns via medieval Bhaktapur, Patan Durbar Square and a Tibetan refugee handicraft center. In Kathmandu you visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the former royal palace complex built by the Malla and Shah kings with the Hanuman Dhoka palace, the Kumari Ghar (home of the living goddess), Taleju Temple and the nine-storey Nautalle Durbar, as well as Swayambhunath Stupa. A flight to Pokhara brings boating on Phewa Lake, Mahendra Cave and Devi's Fall.
